The whole of the Mid West crew were on a high for the third consecutive day of triple figure riding - knocking off another 136km with ease. This group of trailblazers were so excited after the soaring success of the first ever community forum event hosted in Dalwallinu the night before.
It’s a bit hard to accept that the day three activities of the Hawaiian Ride For Youth are drawing to a close. 152 kilometres later, and the Coastal peloton riders and support crew find themselves in Busselton, having ridden a wet and windy route up from Pemberton.
The peloton split into two groups to manage a visit to two schools, St Mary McKillop College and Georgiana Molloy Anglican School.
This morning the weather was looking tenuous after a night of heavy rain and strong winds, however apart from some light rain the riders had a good run, with no issues throughout the Ride.
Lance Randall of team Alcoa gave an excellent presentation to a large group of students at Manjimup Senior High School with the students asking thoughtful questions about mental health issues.
